The Hilltop Garden (Room 6)

Progressing south from Room 5, we come to the garden of the bronze dancer.
Facing distant vistas east, this garden is dominated by a huge evergreen alder tree, under which a life-sized bronze of a nude female dancer, called “Woman in the Wind”, poses in perpetuity.
The residence and standard rose bushes at the western side and topiarised shrubs on the eastern boundary define this area.
There is a jarrah garden bench facing the north here and a quiet rest contemplation from this viewpoint is to be recommended.
Stroll gardens exemplify the principals of Shakkei – “hide and reveal and borrowed scenery.”
